I recently enjoyed a week at Rancho Banderas, and it was a good escape. The resort offers spacious villas with beautiful views, although some furniture is a bit dated. The on-site restaurant has good service but the food varied in quality. The beach and pool areas were well-maintained and perfect for relaxation, but I wish I could have brought my own drinks down to the pool area.
